\(\underline{\text{Brief biography}}\)
I obtained my PhD in Applied Mathematics (Statistics) from Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris 6) in 2002, followed by the Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) in 2009.
After early academic positions in Paris, I joined the University of Lille, where I have served as Full Professor since 2010 and held several leadership roles in research laboratories and academic programs.
My career reflects sustained engagement in interdisciplinary research and international collaboration.

\(\underline{\text{Research interests}}\)
My research interests include functional data analysis, spatial statistics and non-parametric and semi-parametric inference for weakly dependent processes, with applications to environmental, economic and health data.
I have been Principal Investigator or Co-PI on numerous funded projects at regional, national, and international levels, including health, cancer research, environmental modeling, and statistical learning initiatives, in collaboration with institutions such as INRIA, OncoLille, etc.
I have published in peer-reviewed journals in statistics and applied mathematics and regularly contribute invited lectures, seminars and conference presentations.
\(\underline{\text{Professional engagement}}\)
I have held extensive academic service and leadership responsibilities, including directing research laboratories, managing interdisciplinary programs, and serving on strategic and scientific committees.
Internationally, I served as Chair of the European Mathematical Society Committee for Developing Countries and continue to contribute to global scientific governance as a member of the Scientific Executive Committee of CIMPA.
I am actively involved in organizing conferences and seminars, mentoring researchers, and promoting international cooperation in mathematics and statistics.
